Pastor Kathy and Chris Hendrick are looking to start a confirmation class for interested members of the congregation. A few of the older youths have already committed and we would like to open the class to any adults who have not yet been confirmed but would like to be. The class will be based on Affirming Faith: A Congregation’s guide to Confirmation, which is used extensively throughout the UCC. We will Likely meet weekly throughout the spring. Please let Chris or Pastor Kathy know if you are interested in being confirmed.
Wednesday Night Bible Study: Elm Street Congregational Church offers a Wednesday night bible study which is open to all in the community. The Studies are usually on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month unless there are scheduling conflicts and are at 6:30 in the church conference room which can be accessed at the entrance on Park St. With winter upon us and due to scheduling conflicts our next study will begin February 28th and we will begin studying the book of Romans. Any change to these scheduled dates will be posted ASAP as well as announced at Sunday services.
